The MetroSouth Chamber of Commerce presented "Economic Impact Awards" to ten area companies who have made a significant investment and contribution to the economic development of the region.FitzGerald Design Build received the prestigious "Ecomomic Impact Award" by MetroSouth Chamber of Commerce. FitzGerald Design Build  owns and operates the Olde Towne Square retail / office building at 1035 Bedford Street in Abington. This 16,000 square foot building provides space for numerous small businesses with total combined employment of more than 50 people. Russ Fitzgerald invested more than $1.5 million dollars in the project. The building is currently full and features Brennan’s Smoke Shop, DeJa Brew Coffee, On The Spot Cleaners, Nidia's, Unyk Signs and J. Nails and Spa. Fitzgerald Design Build, established in 1981 is a general contracting firm specializing in residential and commercial projects. They offer a complete range of design and remodeling services.
